Being involved in our local and global communities is an important aspect to being a sister of Delta Phi Lambda. We participate in community service projects where we devote our time and energy within each individual chapter. From feeding the homeless to helping build houses for those less fortunate than ourselves, sisters of Delta Phi Lambda are more than happy to lend a helping hand to our communities. We feel that by helping our surrounding communities it nurtures ourselves, aiding in our development as strong female community leaders. Not to mention that helping others makes the community feel good and us feel good, too!

In addition to service, our sisters participate in various civic initiatives such as APIAVote, and advocate awareness for human rights movements like human trafficking and sexual assault. It’s imperative for us to be engaged in all aspects of our society in order to nurture personal growth while promoting positive and progressive change.
