Our National Office is committed to building close working relationships with all of our university Fraternity and Sorority Life offices. By keeping the lines of communication open, together we will help our chapters thrive on your campuses. We are dedicated to ensuring that our members are getting the most out of their collegiate experience by providing them with opportunities to enhance their leadership skills and embrace diversity in all forms. We have aligned our annual Midyear Conference with the Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values (AFLV) so that our members may improve their skills through trainings, workshops, and professional networking. As members of the National APIA Panhellenic Association, we are able to promote unity and cultural awareness while learning from other respectable organizations. As such we abide by NAPA’s Open Expansion Policy.
To those advisors at universities with whom we have not yet built or are building new relationships, we are very excited that you are considering Delta Phi Lambda as a potential addition to your university community. We look forward to collaborating with you and your students to bring our unique and beloved organization to your esteemed campus. To advisors at our existing chapters, we understand that without your support and guidance, our chapters would not be able to be as successful as they are today. Our Director of Expansion opens communications with a University’s Greek Office regarding expansion requirements. Together, the Director of Expansion and the University’s Greek Affairs representative will work together to establish a plan of action and timeline regarding expansion efforts.
Established Interest Group
An established interest group typically contacts our Director of Expansion inquiring about expanding at their university. A campus assessment will be conducted to determine if expansion will be viable at the university. At this time our Director of Expansion will also initiate contact with the University’s Greek Affairs Office to begin the collaborative working partnership.
